How You Can Help

Its of importance to note that as a not for profit organization, Stage Right seeks funding for project specific reasons. Meaning; we fund what the community views as valuable and needed. So far these things include projects that target children and specifically children at risk. Although we have received limited funding for our ‘Kids Take a Stand’ project, we hope that word of its effect spreads and we find the funding to keep a thing like that alive. We also keep an eye towards things that interest and energize the community. With this in mind, we recognize the value that our area puts in getting kids into local libraries and excited about reading. ‘Books Come Alive’ has found funding, but with cutbacks in the state budget devastating local budgets, funding for a thing like this program could disappear. Our professional theatre company, like so many, operates at break even, mainly due to the incredibly high cost of renting the Palace Theatre, but audiences continue to grow and lost ground on one show is made up on another. All of this leads to this: What can you do?

First; by buying a ticket or enrolling your child in class you are supporting Stage Right and we thank you. In addition to these thing, we also enjoy the support of those who give by giving their time. Volunteers are a very important part of any not for profit and Stage Right welcomes those of you that would like to do so. Please call us at the office and we’ll put you to work! Finally, the inevitable request of any not for profit arts organization is a financial one. Stage Right would greatly appreciate any monetary contribution you can make. Consider it an investment in an organization that in invested in making a difference in your hometown. You can be sure, a dollar given to Stage Right is a dollar spent on something tangible that helps us fulfill our mission.

The Art of Giving

The business of art is a costly one, and requires those who think it’s important to support it. We have been fortunate that many of you have found this mission a worthwhile thing, but to keep the curtain up more help is needed.

Stage Right’s desire to provide your children with a professional training ground and help them fulfill their dreams, has found success and sustains itself well. But the job of bringing professional theatre to the local area is something that must be supported by donations and grants, as well as ticket sales.

We hope you agree that Stage Right offers worthwhile programs and an excellent opportunity for young performers to experience theater. If you do, please use the form below to support our work.

(Please note that we are also seeking corporate sponsorship in exchange for naming rights of our season or individual shows.)
