Anthony J. Massetto, from Murrysville, PA, holds a Master of Music in vocal performance from Shenandoah University and a Bachelor of Arts in vocal performance from St. Vincent College. His operatic roles include Gianni Schicchi (Puccini), Germont in La traviata, Figaro and Don Giovanni (Mozart), Marcello in La bohème, Dr. Miracle/Dappertutto in The Tales of Hoffmann, and the world premiere of Young Thomas in Thomas the Rhymer (2024). In musical theater, he has portrayed Billy Crocker in Anything Goes, Enoch Snow in Carousel, Bob Gaudio in Jersey Boys, and Utterson in Jekyll & Hyde. He was a resident artist with Opera North in 2023 and has performed major oratorio works, including the bass soloist in Handel's Messiah and Jesus in Nancy Galbraith's Passion According to St. Matthew (Easter 2025). With eight years of teaching experience, he currently serves as Choir Director and Music Teacher at Oakland Catholic High School in Pittsburgh.
