Creative Arts Teacher - Full-time
Day to Day Substitutes (As needed)
Overview
Creative Arts teachers will subcontract at Propel schools and will work with a diverse range of students to help foster creativity and self-expression. Creative Arts Teachers subcontracted at Propel will:

help students to acquire new skills in theatre arts.

guide students through the exploration and immersion of different art forms and implement a hands-on approach to arts education
-
create engaging lesson plans, foster a culture of discovery and critical thinking, and maintain structure in the classroom.
What We're Looking For
-
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; Teaching experience preferred.

Proven track record for planning lessons with clear learning objectives and a means for assessing whether those objectives have been met.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Demonstrated content knowledge and familiarity with theatre arts: dance, music, acting, vocal, technical theatre, etc.

Demonstrated success in tailoring instruction to the needs of diverse learners.
-
Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.

Experience working with educational technology.
