Stage Right! Unveils Star-Studded Summer Theatre Camps Featuring Beloved Musicals and Top Industry Talent

Greensburg, PA — April 24, 2025 — Stage Right! School for the Performing Arts is lighting up the stage this summer with an exciting season of musical theatre camps for ages 4–18. With three high-energy productions, expert instruction from top-tier teaching artists, and performances at the historic Lamp Theatre, this summer promises to be the most spectacular yet.
Each camp culminates in a full-scale production of a Broadway-style musical, offering students the chance to take the stage and bring stories to life in front of a live audience.
Summer Camp Lineup & Shows:
● Imagination Workshop (Ages 4–8):
Making the Band (Express Musical)

This camp is perfect for young dreamers ready to explore acting, singing, and dancing while
having tons of fun.
PreTeen Camp (Ages 8–12):
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical (60-Minute Edition)

Exceptional Staff & Guest Artists:
Each production will be supported by Alyssa Wano (Stage Manager) and Joey Estok (Assistant Stage Manager), ensuring a smooth and professional backstage experience.
Throughout the summer, students will train with a stellar lineup of masterclass instructors and daily teaching artists, including:
● Claudia Benack – A Carnegie Mellon University voice faculty member with decades of experience training Broadway-caliber talent.
● Jim Donovan – Founding member of Rusted Root and renowned for his work in rhythm-based
education and wellness.
● Noah Welter – Award-winning actor and director, known for his work across regional theatres and national tours.
● Annastassia Stewart – Stage Right! Alum is a dancer, actor, and educator whose work fuses
classical and contemporary storytelling.
● Savannah Bruno – NYC performer and Stage Right! alum with credits including national tours and regional theatre.
Daily classes will be taught by a rotating group of talented local teaching artists, including Josh Reardon, Christine Mikrut, Nick Lenz, and dynamic duo Chelsea and Sean Conway, alongside other passionate professionals from the region.
Spotlight on Stage Right! Alumni and Notable Staff:
● Nick Lenz, a proud Stage Right! alumnus, holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah
Conservatory. With nearly two decades of experience in musical theatre, he has directed,
choreographed, and taught at esteemed institutions like Stagedoor Manor. Currently, he serves as the Education & Engagement Manager at Westmoreland Cultural Trust, fostering inclusive artistic spaces in the community .
● Ben Pimental, another Stage Right! graduate, is a New York City-based Equity actor originally
from Mount Pleasant, PA. A 2021 BFA Musical Theatre graduate from the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), Ben has performed in productions such as Newsies and Seussical. He also brings his expertise as a pianist and music director to our summer camp .
● AJ Sansonetti, directing the Teen Camp's Heathers: Teen Edition, is a seasoned director and
actor. A graduate of Slippery Rock University with a BA in Theatre-Acting, AJ has directed multiple full-length musicals, including The Wedding Singer and All Shook Up, and has performed in various productions such as Dogfight and Heathers: The Musical .
● Jake Emmerling, choreographing for the Teen Camp, is a professional actor and choreographer with national tour experience, including The Book of Mormon. Jake has also performed in regional productions like South Pacific and West Side Story.
● Travis Rigby, music director for the PreTeen Camp, is an accomplished educator, composer, and orchestrator. Holding a Master's Degree in Music Composition from the University of Kansas, Travis teaches at Westinghouse Arts Academy and has had their compositions performed by ensembles like the Wood River Orchestra .
